The CDC database

The CDC keeps statistics on the number of AIDS cases in the US reported each year. This graph shows the adult/adolescent cases. The data used was extracted from the AIDS Public Information Data Set (to 1994) and the CDC Surveillance reports (1993-1997). Note that the 1998 end-of-year data isn't out yet, so I used the July 1997 to June 1998 data.

Since I combined different sources for the different years and the CDC updates its numbers each year as it gets more information, I can't guarantee that these numbers are exactly right. They should be very close, though.
